Finale for Tour De Central FL Women's Road Ride and Watch Party
The 2022 Tour de France Femmes, is the first edition of the Tour de France Femmes, one of women's cycling's two grand tours. The race is scheduled for 24 to 31 July 2022. The race follows years of campaigning by the women's professional peloton for an equivalent race to the men's Tour de France.
To celebrate this momentous moment, B3 Cafe and Kyle's Bike Shop will be Co-hosting the finale women's 30 mile road ride immediately followed by a Tour De Femme watch party. The closing day 7/31, we will start and end our event at the B3 cafe - rolling at 7:30am. All yummy post ride beverages and food can be purchased at the B3 Cafe.
For the group ride there will be three levels offered. Equipped with a ride leader and a sweep. Each group will have an optional opportunity for a sprint in a controlled environment with a mandatory regroup at the end.
Group descriptions are as following.
Group 1) Cheetah: 20-23 rolling speed. Not to be confused with average speed. Rolling speed is your current moving pace. This is a drop group. Concerned about being dropped. Don't worry there are two other groups that will be right behind you to sweep you up.
Group 2) Lioness 18-21 rolling speed. Not to be confused with average speed. Rolling speed is your current moving pace. This is a drop group. Concerned about being dropped. Don't worry there is another group that will be right behind to sweep you up.
